General Questions

  • Fizzies Kits are perfect for families who love imaginative play, outdoor adventures, and magical memories. They also make wonderful gifts, party activities, or enchanting rainy-day adventures.

    They are ideal for children aged 5 and up, however with a little adult help younger ones can still join in the fun.

    (Note: Contains small parts so our kits are not recommended for children under 3 years. Little explorers must be watched at all times so adult supervision is required.)

  • Yes! All ingredients are non-toxic and safe to handle, but not edible (even if they look deliciously sparkly!). Please check the ingredients list for any allergies or sensitivities, and always play under adult supervision.

  • We LOVE adding a little extra magic! At checkout, you can leave the name of the lucky child who will receive the kit and any other info you think we should know, and we’ll make sure they get a personalised note just for them. A tiny touch that makes the adventure feel even more special!

  • We don’t just yet - but it’s absolutely something we’re working towards! Bulk Fizz for parties, schools, and daycare settings is very much on our magical to-do list.

Everything You Need To Know About Our Potion Kits

  • Each kit is a treasure chest of magic, containing:

    • Four dry ingredients and two liquid concentrates

    • Two double-sided activity cards with a list of the ingredient’s magical powers, recipes, enchanted missions, affirmations, and extra play ideas.

    • An illustrated instruction card

    Every detail is designed to whisk your little potion-makers straight into the world of magic and enchantment!

  • The magical qualities of our potion ingredients are extremely powerful so a little goes a long way.

    Every potion kit comes with four pouches, each containing approximately 6 tablespoons of magical dry ingredients. Each kit also contains 2 liquid concentrates, which will each make approximately 500ml of swirly, sparkly liquid.

    We make sure our kit ingredients are generous so that even heavy handed magic makers will have enough for at least three large, extra bubbly potions.

  • Not at all! Every ingredient in your kit holds its own special power, and your child is the true potion master.

    They can add as little or as much of each ingredient as their heart or imagination desires.

    The real magic lies in their creativity, curiosity, and the joy of discovery because no two potions ever bubble quite the same way!

  • At Fizzies, imagination and magic don’t cost the earth.

    We encourage gathering treasures from nature (leaves, petals, bark, pebbles, or flowers) to mix into potions. A simple walk through the park or backyard becomes a magical ingredient hunt.

    And if you’ve got a heavy-handed fizz goblin in your midst (I have one too haha), you can always add a sprinkle more wonder with our bags of Rainbow Fizz (available in the shop).

All About Our Treasure Hunt Kits

  • These are our most enchanting kits yet! Whether you are looking for an active adventure to get your kids moving or some mindful potion play, our combo kits offer both.

    Each Treasure Hunt Kit includes everything from our Potion Kit plus an illustrated storybook and six treasures/clues to find.

    After an adult hides the treasures, you’ll read the story together to discover the story characters need your help! Seek the missing treasures and mix a magical potion to save the day.

    Each kit includes full, easy-to-follow instructions.

  • These kits are wonderfully flexible, meeting your child exactly where they’re at on any given day.

    If little legs need to move and imaginations are ready for adventure, you can turn it into a full experience - storytime, a treasure hunt, and potion play all woven together.

    Short on time (or energy!)? Simply hide the treasures around the house or backyard for an instant burst of movement and fun. Even better when the kids hide them for each other — a sneaky way to buy yourself a little quiet time 😉

    And when the day calls for something calm, potion making offers a gentle, mindful sensory activity. Each kit includes a complete potion set, recipes, mindfulness moments, and imaginative games to explore at a slower pace. The ‘treasure’ wands make a really sweet and magical addition to potion play.

  • That’s up to you! You can keep it simple, set up and play… or go all-out with costumes and props.

    Most families spend around 45 minutes to an hour on their magical adventure.

  • Absolutely! Kids love revisiting their adventures, just like re-reading a favourite story. Finding the treasure and saving the day again builds confidence and imagination.

    We include generous quantities of potion ingredients in every kit so you can play over and over!

  • Yes! You can restock with any of our standard Potion Kits or add a bag of Rainbow Fizz for extra fizzy fun.

    Rainbow Fizz is perfect for treasure hunts with lots of kids - add a set of extra wands and you’ll soon have both little adventurers and grown-ups joining in.

  • We get it – the more kids, the more treasure you need! You can grab extra sets of 6 wands in our shop to make the adventure even bigger and better!

    These wands are also a brilliant stand alone purchase. Kids love to wave these wands around as they imagine they are little fairies and wizards.

    They’re also perfect for a game of hide and seek around the house or garden - a little-known spell that can buy parents a cheeky 20 minutes with a hot coffee.
    Let the kids hide them for each other while you put your feet up. Parenting wizard level: unlocked!

  • Each parcel is lovingly packed by hand in our little workshop in Sparkle Hollow (a secret enchanted forest somewhere in sunny Western Australia), then sent with a sprinkle of magic (and tracking details).
